War Monitor is our most complex technical project: a platform that pulls in data from more than 100 sources (conflict events, military flights, ships, cyber threats, live news) and brings it together on one interactive map with daily AI briefings. The map and the brief need no sign-up, and on top of them run accounts, email briefings and a paid Pro plan with live signals and alerts. It loads in seconds and serves visitors from all over the world.
War Monitor is a global dashboard that tracks active conflicts, escalation risk and how markets react, in real time. The map shows more than 25 layers: conflict zones, military bases, nuclear sites, undersea cables, pipelines, AI data centers, military aviation, shipping traffic, protests, cyber threats, GPS jamming and climate anomalies. Next to the map run live news streams from nine TV channels, webcams from key cities and an instability index for each country.
The map, the daily brief and the answer pages are open to everyone and need no account. That is also what makes it a serious engineering challenge: everything has to be fast and stable, and it has to hold up under traffic spikes when something big happens in the world.
On top of the free part we built a full user system. Sign-in works with an email link, no password. A free account gets a watchlist for a conflict or a country, more questions to the AI analyst, the brief archive and a weekly email about what you follow. The free newsletter sends the five things that changed every morning, in 9 languages, with optional alerts for a chosen region.
Pro is the paid plan, with 3 free days. It adds predictions from our forecasting AI (the probability of each question, with drivers, indicators and a track record), live Pro signals (air-raid alerts for Ukraine and Israel, airspace bulletins for conflict zones, maritime advisories, sanctions changes and radiation readings), a personal brief by email at 08:00 local time and alerts the moment something you follow moves. On top of that come alerts near up to 3 of the user's places (earthquakes, air-raid alerts, unrest and radiation within a chosen radius), a weekly PDF report, data export as CSV and JSON, and a Pro + API plan with keys for teams and their own tools.
Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay checkout, the trial, one-click cancellation and the automated emails (welcome, a sequence for new accounts) are part of the same system, and every step from visitor to subscriber is measured.
We designed and developed the entire platform: collecting data from open sources (ACLED, UCDP, GDELT, OSINT channels, market indicators), processing it into a single data model, the interactive map with layers and time filters, pages for each country and each conflict, and a section with daily AI briefings, each with a permanent URL and an archive.
The AI briefings condense the most important military and geopolitical events of the day into one short report with a threat level. To produce them, we built a chain of AI agents that reads, cross-checks against several sources and summarizes, instead of simply rewording headlines.
The interface is built as a fast web application with a dark theme, keyboard shortcuts and a mobile version where the map and the news stack vertically. The dedicated pages for Ukraine, Iran, global risk and every country are indexable, with clear titles and descriptions, which brings organic traffic from English searches for conflict maps and risk analysis.
